Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda. Overnight: The Boma Hotel, Entebbe
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Safari Muse representative. Transfer to The Boma Hotel, a boutique retreat tucked into a leafy neighborhood just minutes from the airport.
Settle into your garden-view suite, relax by the pool, and enjoy a delicious dinner in tranquil surroundings — the perfect start to your Ugandan journey.
Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, board a scenic flight to Kihihi Airstrip, followed by a picturesque drive through rolling hills and villages until you arrive at Bwindi Lodge.
Perched on the edge of the forest, Bwindi Lodge offers spectacular views of the canopy and the sounds of the Munyaga River below. The lodge’s eco-luxury bandas blend seamlessly with the surroundings, creating a sense of being fully immersed in nature.
Spend your first evening soaking in the lodge’s tranquil ambiance, enjoying a chefprepared dinner as mist drifts over the forest.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Awaken early to the calls of the forest and enjoy a hearty breakfast before setting off on your gorilla trekking adventure. After a detailed briefing, you’ll be guided by experienced trackers deep into the dense vegetation of Bwindi.
The trek may take anywhere from 2–8 hours, but the reward is incomparable: a full hour in the presence of a gorilla family. Watch them forage, play, and interact in ways that mirror our own human connections — a humbling and transformative experience.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, perhaps indulging in a soothing spa treatment before dinner and a restful night.

Day 4: Forest Walks & Batwa Cultural Encounters
Today offers a gentler rhythm. You may choose a guided forest walk along the lodge’s private path, where towering trees, colorful butterflies, and rare bird species reveal Bwindi’s extraordinary biodiversity. Alternatively, hike along the Munyaga River Trail to discover the pristine waterfalls hidden in the forest.
In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community, the indigenous people of the forest, and learn about their traditions, music, and way of life — a cultural immersion that enriches your understanding of Bwindi’s human heritage.
Return to the lodge for a fireside evening under a canopy of stars.
Day 5: Farewell to Bwindi
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi as you transfer back to Kihihi Airstrip for your return flight to Entebbe. Depending on your international departure, you may enjoy a day room or continue directly to the airport.
